A Designer’s City Home Embraces Minimalist Country Style

Golara Ghasemi, principal designer of Studio Golara, transformed her city bungalow into a three-storey home. The open, airy design is highlighted by soaring ceilings, a tall plaster fireplace, recurring curves and a soft, quiet palette that nods to country style. The home bar is a focal point, featuring custom fluted millwork and a mirrored backsplash. Having moved from Iran to Canada, Golara designed her home with family in mind. Credit to : House & Home
