Interior Design

A kitchen that’s too big? It’s not a common complaint but that’s one thing that Lisa Worth, principal designer of Worth interior Design, grappled with in this new build in King City for a young family. Large pendants balance the scale of the 11-foot island while a floor-to-ceiling wine cabinet and coffee bar are accommodated in the adjacent dining room. A double-height ceiling in the family room still feels intimate with comfortable furniture and built-in display. Lisa lavishes the home with design details like the oak door jambs, antiqued mirrored backsplashes and the eye-catching hood vent outlined in black metal.
