This Hodgepodge Tiny House is a Little Mansion (On a Budget!)

Kerry and Will’s wonderfully hodgepodge tiny house is a home filled with character, reclaimed materials and clever secondhand finds. Originally an old single-wide cabin, the home has been transformed using salvaged timber, vintage cabinetry, stained glass and recycled building materials. Nothing is overly polished or perfectly straight, but that is exactly what gives this quirky off-grid tiny home so much warmth and personality.

At 13 metres (43 ft) long and 3 metres (10 ft) wide, the house feels surprisingly spacious. Inside, there is a generous kitchen, separate living room, home office and music space, full bathroom with a bathtub, plenty of storage and a comfortable bedroom overlooking the pond.

Outside, a large covered deck extends the living area, while solar power, rainwater storage, greywater irrigation and a composting toilet support their off-grid lifestyle.
